Welcome to the official website of the North County San Diego Chapter of Jack & Jill of America, Inc.

 

In 1993, mothers residing in the North County San Diego area started an interest group which was sponsored by the San Diego Chapter.  The North County San Diego Chapter was then chartered in 1994 by the national organization. Currently, the North County San Diego Chapter is 49 families strong . We also have an active Associate Group (Graduate Mothers Group).

 

The organization’s first priority is to always maintain the highest quality of children’s activities by working with one another, making new friends, and expanding throughout the community.  It is our hope to encourage and motivate young people to reach for their dreams, and to strive to become responsible adults.

 

Once a month the children meet for their group activities.  These activities are age appropriate and fun.  In accordance with our national goal, we have a mix of activities:  social, fun, civic, cultural and educational.  In addition, we have all family activities such as our annual Jack & Jill Day Picnic, Kwaanza Celebration and we participate in the San Diego Martin Luther King Parade to name a few.  We also have fundraising activities to support the Jack & Jill Foundation and other non-profit organizations in the San Diego community.  Some of these organizations include, The Elementary Institute of Science, the San Diego Food Bank and other local charities.
